Senior Men Preparing for new Season

We have three Senior Men's teams at Beaconsfield Rugby Club that play regularly. Our 1st XV are a highly competitive level 6 side that play in the Regional 2 Thames League. We pride ourselves on playing an exciting brand of rugby and have aspirations of reaching level 5 using a completely amateur squad harnessing the strength of our mini and junior section and local talent.
Recent success includes an unbeaten league winning campaign and Papa John’s Cup Victory.
Our 2nd XV squad plays in a local league at level 7 in Counties 2, Bucks, Berks and Oxon East. We believe we offer one of the best 2nd XV environments in the area with full coaching and analysis support through which players can enjoy their rugby and work towards their potential.
We also provide occasional 3rd XV fixtures to support players who are new or returning to the game or can’t commit to a full league schedule.
Beaconsfield has one of the strongest coaching teams in the area. We have three England Rugby Level 3 Coaches in Russ Bolton (Head Coach), Lee Goodall (Forwards Coach) and Aled Lewis (Backs, player coach). Our 2nd XV is supported by the oustanding Nick Martin (Head coach) and club legend Kwong Lin (Forwards). S&C support is provide by Jonny Baxter in collaboration with Fitworks and we have a full physio team that support all training nights and fixtures.
The team train on Tuesday and Thursday evenings from 7:15- 8.30pm. Food is provided for all players after training and the bar is open for the Senior Men and Women's squads.
